Founded in March 2000, abcteach is dedicated to helping kids, parents, student teachers, and teachers. This site is a place to get helpful educational ideas, no matter who you are. You will find lessons designed to go straight from the computer to the classroom, a terrific tool for teachers and student teachers. They have materials to help students who need to revise specific material, or who are interested in pursuing a particular topic on their own. There are ideas for parents and homeschoolers, too. The purpose of abcteach is to provide educationally sound suggestions that help with learning and teaching. abcteach provides on line materials for easy and immediate use by kids, student teachers, teachers, parents, and other visitors to the site. The material can be printed directly from the screen; no downloads necessary. Teachers have permission to reproduce these pages for classroom use.
